Oracle

Oracle is a leader in corporate databases, it is attracting attention again with its AI data center business (participation in Stargate).

Oracle is an American IT company that has reigned as the leader in enterprise database software. The core data of companies around the world runs on Oracle databases, and it has entered the cloud market as a latecomer.

The reason Oracle is attracting attention again in the AI boom is because of its AI data center business. Taking advantage of its weakness as a cloud latecomer, it aggressively invested in AI learning infrastructure, and its status soared as it became a key partner of Stargate, a very large data center project in which OpenAI participates. Stock prices soared on news of a large-scale cloud contract with OpenAI, and founder Larry Ellison competed for the ranking of the world's richest person.

It is considered a representative example of a traditional software company transforming into an AI infrastructure company, but doubts are also raised about the feasibility of a large contract and the burden of enormous facility investment.
