Usually, hundreds of chips are cut from a single wafer, but Cerebras holds the title of the world's largest chip by making it into a huge single chip (WSE) without cutting it.

Thanks to this structure, the bottleneck of data transfer between chips is reduced, and the result is that it is much faster than GPU, especially in AI inference (answer generation) speed. Among the many AI chip startups challenging NVIDIA's monopoly, it is a company that attracts attention for its most radical design.

It provides its own chip-based inference service in the form of a cloud, and has also become a hot topic through contracts with large overseas customers, including those in the Middle East. However, the high dependence on certain large customers is pointed out as a weakness.
